Organic Kenya Limited is an organic agro-inputs producing firm that started as growers. Founded in 2014, OKL initially aimed to support farmers in exporting organic produce. However, we discovered that soil health was the core issue and our mission evolved to our core goal of revitalizing degraded soils and empowering smallholder farmers to cultivate crops sustainably.
Since Rebranding in 2020, we have dedicated ourselves to transforming the agricultural landscape in Kenya. Through our high-quality organic products and comprehensive training programs, we have reached over 3,500 smallholder farmers directly and impacted more than 5,000 through our initiatives on sustainable agriculture practices.
Our Journey and Impact
Located in the fertile region of Gathigiriri, Mwea, Kirinyaga County, our state-of-the-art production facility is the heart of our operations. Here, we employ 19 local workers, with over 75% being enthusiastic and dedicated youth. This commitment to local employment not only supports the community but also fosters a culture of innovation and growth.
Our products are distributed through a network of 11 agro-dealer stores nationwide. Remarkably, 80% of these stores are operated by women, ensuring that our sustainable farming solutions are accessible and empowering female entrepreneurs across Kenya.
